UMI Performance tubular lower A-arms are built to offer a strong
streetable setup while reducing weight over the factory lower A-arms. By
adding UMI Performance lower A-arms you immediately remove 8lbs from
the front of the vehicle while adding strength and increased
performance. UMI tubular A-arms are designed to outperform the stock
setup, whether it’s at the race track or an added improvement to a
daily driver, they’ve been tested and improved to handle both
applications. These lower A-arms can be installed on the factory
K-member or any aftermarket K-member. They are designed to reduce front
end weight, as well as “unsprung” weight, providing improved handling
performance to the front of your vehicle. UMI Performance A-arms are
built using strong DOM steel tubing, 3/16” thick CNC machined shock
mounts and new premium ball joints installed.
UMI front lower A-arms are supplied with UMI designed Roto-Joints.
The Roto-Joints replace the stock rubber bushings found in the OEM
A-arms. This Roto-Joint is to allow free movement and travel in the
front suspension while adding additional front end adjustment when
needed. The factory GM A-arm features a rubber pivot bushing in the
rear bushing area; this is designed to rotate up and down as the
suspension travels. Replacing this bushing with a solid bushing such as
polyurethane would not allow the suspension to articulate correctly
and would cause front suspension bind.

Chromoly- Chromoly version uses 1.250" x
0.095" 4130 Chromoly steel and fully TIG welded. The Chrome Moly
construction adds increased strength while reducing product weight by
